Honored to Be Recognized by the Alzheimer’s Association Hudson Valley Chapter
31 Jan 2026Lizzy Care is proud and deeply honored to be recognized by the Alzheimer’s Association Hudson Valley Chapter for our commitment to families affected by dementia across the region.
From the very beginning, Lizzy Care was created to reimagine what dementia care at home can look like. Too often, families are left to navigate an overwhelming system on their own, trying to piece together medical advice, home care, safety concerns, and emotional support without a clear roadmap. Our mission is to change that by offering practical guidance, proactive planning, and real-time support from a team that understands both dementia and caregiving.
Our involvement in the Westchester Walk to End Alzheimer’s is one visible expression of this mission. Walking alongside families, care partners, and community organizations reminds us that dementia is not an individual journey. It affects entire households and communities, and it requires all of us pulling together to create better options for care and support.
The partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association Hudson Valley Chapter is especially meaningful to us. Together, we are working to:
- Expand access to dementia education and navigation so families know where to turn with questions
- Connect caregivers to resources earlier in the journey, before they reach a crisis point
- Build stronger local networks that can provide both emotional support and concrete help at home
This recognition is a reflection of that shared effort and of the families who trust us to walk alongside them. We are grateful to the Alzheimer’s Association for their leadership in the Hudson Valley and for the opportunity to collaborate on programs, events, and initiatives that put caregivers and people living with dementia at the center.
Most of all, we are grateful to the families we serve. Your courage, persistence, and love are the reason this work matters. Lizzy Care will continue to push for a future where no one has to navigate dementia alone and where every family has access to the guidance and support they deserve.
